Part C: Open Ended Question (Total marks 30%) 3. Due to prolong outbreak of Coronavirus in Hong Kong Special (30 marks Administrative Region (HKSAR), the Hong Kong Government (HKG) is seeking for an alternative procurement method to acquire a new hospital complex targeted to provide a total 5000 beds within 12 months. The initial idea is to be constructed by Modular Integrated Construction (MIC) in order to speed up the whole construction process. Time is essence, the quality of the new hospital complex should be up to an acceptable standard and in low rise construction. 3.1 Advise the client with explanation a suitable contractual arrangement for this project. 3.2 Explain to the client what critical factors that you have considered in the process of making the choice. 3.3 State the advantages and disadvantages of the method suggested. 3.4 Advise any proposal(s) to shorten the time for completion of the hospital beds and hand over to the client bearing in mind that the overall 12 months is already critical and may not be substantially reduced.
