Dispute 1 - Abdullah was a classmate of Bilal at university. One day, Abdullah punched Bilal in the face. This caused Bilal to fall down a set of stairs, and suffer multiple injuries when he got to the bottom of the stairs. Bilal was hospitalized for a long period of time. He had to leave university, and he lost his job [the job he used to pay for university] as a result of injuries. Bilal sues Abdullah for the injuries.

Dispute 2 - Alex was visiting his friend, Daniel. Daniel was showing Alex a number of new items he just purchased. Among those items was a brand-new Desert Eagle pistol. Alex was complimenting Daniel on how nice the pistol looked. When Daniel was not looking, Alex put the pistol in his pocket and left Daniel's house.
