How do others listen to you? Think about conversations you've had with people this week; characterize these conversations using the concepts from this habit. What does this habit challenge you to reflect on regarding your internship/mentorship and other work experience to date? What does this habit suggest for your personal and professional efforts in the future? What does the habit mean toward your adding value to your future career?
C. Develop a plan to teach Habit 5 to another person(s), and then go teach the person about Habit 5. After teaching the Habit answer the following questions in your journal. Who did you teach and why? What did you do and what were the results? What did you learn about trying to teach another person in order to enhance their personal/professional development? What did you learn about the habit yourself? Are you a good listener? Do you seek first to understand? What do you plan to do differently in the future as a result of this exercise?
