Summarizing our analysis for our five forces would consist of the threat of new entrant, competitive rivalry, buyer power, supplier power, and threat of substitution. For threat of new entrant having unique content is important in the online education space with unique interactive graphics, but it can still be copied which is a big threat. Education structure in the USA is mostly public, so it will be difficult for our company Ignite Future to make name for it. Entry barrier is there because of huge scale public school education system. Second for competitive rivalry the road is about to get bumpy due to the fact that other online companies such as Khan Academy provides free online education along with the fact that the decision from the consumers comes down to deciding whether to enroll in the university or online portal is whether the school is accredited or not and online classes are mostly based on remedial classes. Third for buying power in the USA 43% of parents conform to pay additional amount for their kids education. Age of learning is a significant player in K12 section along with the fact that less competition gives less buying power to the consumer. Fourth, for supplier power good teachers are the main contributors to the sector, and there a lot of experienced teachers available in the sector for making this space grow and have an impact. The number of teachers and faculties for teaching are high, they have a high bargaining power and there are times when students prefer a personalized learning from a specific teacher which gives a lot of bargaining power to the teachers. Last, we have Threat of Substitution. For this category content is the main key here for success, if you come up with a unique content you cannot be relieved as the competitor can come up a further attractive content and this will lead you to lose your customers. Home schools and conventional schools are a big substitute threats to online education.

For our SWOT analysis the strengths would primarily consist of quality products that would include a mix of video lessons and interactive tools to personalize learning for every student with visual graphics and animations to get students engaged. Diverse product range would be our second strength because this company will get attention of people from areas such as middle school level, to high school, to undergrad level learning, to competitive preparation such as SAT, GMAT and offering lessons for signing, dancing, instruments. There would also be weaknesses such as finding out the cost-effective sales model to maximize the reach with low cost is critical. The other weakness would be the number of enrolments in the country is lower in online education and hence the sustainability is critical. There would be many opportunities which would include developing contents in regional languages, introducing accredited professional courses and mentoring program for students to help them choose the right carrier path. Now there would be many threats which would be the high cost of acquiring and replacing the existing expert faculty, competitive pressures, business model imitation, and the high lead time to produce once course.
