Part VII Raj and Elena finally give up on their cross-country vacation. After the accident, they return home. After their children are tucked into bed, Raj and Elena notice that the family pet, a white hamster named Mr Nibbles, has died. They do not want their children to be traumatized any further, so Elena decides to run to the local pet store to get a replacement hamster. Elena and Raj hope that their children might not notice that Mr Nibbles has been replaced. Elena asks Ivan, the pet store employee, to help her get a new hamster.
