Parveen sold her hairdressing business to Louella for $65,000. As part of the contract for the purchase and sale of the business, Parveen agreed to a restrictive covenant whereby she promised not to open up a competing hair salon for one year within 10 kilometers of Louella's new salon.Within two months of selling the business, Parveen incorporated a corporation called Parveen Hair Ltd., and allowed the corporation to set up a hair salon 200 metres from Louella's business.
