Patti and Adam were married for 10 years. One day, Patti finds text messages between Adam and "Anne". Patti decides she has had enough of the marriage and Adam and buys radiator fluid and gatorade. She pours the poison into her husband's favorite flavor of gatorade a puts the bottle in his "gym fridge". Later that day, Adam comes home and tells Patti that he won the Lottery prize of $10 million. Patti thinks her poison gatorade will have to wait until the money runs out. She moves the gatorade bottle to the garage and promptly forgets about her plan. Things go well for the next 2 years. Adam and Patti decide to move to the Bahamas. As they clean out the garage in preparation for the move, Adam finds a bottle of gatorade and drinks it. It was the bottle Patti poisoned. He dies the next day due to the poison. Anne knew Patti learned of the affair and was upset because Adam was cheating. Anne contacts the police to have Patti charged with murder. What result would likely occur? Why?
