The plant is expected to increase revenues but will incur additional production costs. It is estimated the Company will sell an additional 8,000 units per year under the project . It is also expected that the project will require a $200,000 cash outflow at the end of the project to reclaim the property at the end of its 8-year life. The Company will depreciate this asset under the MACRS method to a salvage value of $0 for income tax purposes.
