Paying Athletes - Can we separate the ethical from the economic argument? What policy would serve society best? Which groups (players, fans, schools, etc...) benefit from one policy over another? Consider all of your concepts: opportunity cost; incentives; marginal analysis; prices, etc.....).

Over the last decade a serious debate about paying college athletes has emerged. There's some excellent argument on both sides, both from an economic and ethical perspective. It's a great topic for an economics class.
