Peer's Post:

Hello class! I've decided to use my data based on what people think about minimum wage being $15 stats! Here is the link: https://www.pollingreport.com/work.htm

N= 1009 Margin of error 3.6 - Interpreting the data it should 55% of people approve of raising the minimum wage while 45% do not. This may be in relation to most people not even being able to make this type of wage in certain regions. The data also states that it is 1% unsure based on responses.

3: The confidence interval can be shown to be: 58.6 and 51.4. This is because the margin of error is a plus or minus variable that goes with the outcome.

4-5: Here is the image from my data that I inputted into the excel sheet. The intervals are similar to the values found in step 3 of this weeks unit. Meaning we are using the correct confidence percentage.

6: When it comes to the minimum wage question it can be skewed in a certain direction because of political views or personal wages. It's very difficult to try and get a clear non biased view without involving these two variables. I believe more research and polls might help determine the reliability for the situation.
