Peer response at least one paragraph:

"The movement of the eyes behind the eyelid slows down when you initially go to sleep since you are in the first non-REM sleep state. You are probably still conscious of other activities around you during this light sleep period. You could still be awakened at this point by noises or several other disruptions. At stage 2, your breathing and heart rate stabilize, your body temperature drops, and your eye movements become erratic or cease entirely. You are now completely asleep and have no awareness of your surroundings. At stage 4, a more profound sleep period, the brain waves slow down even more. According to researchers, tissue healing takes place at this phase, and hormones are produced, which help cells and tissue expand. At 90 minutes into the sleep cycle, we reach stage five of sleep, where we start dreaming. Blood pressure and pulse rate rise, respiration become shallow and quick, and the eyes move quickly. The arms and legs become immobile during REM sleep, preventing dream actors from acting out their fantasies. The goal of this phase is to activate the parts of the brain responsible for learning and remembering. Consolidating Memories During REM Sleep The idea that REM sleep aids in memory consolidation has been around for a while; it is mainly supported by the wake-like EEG activity that occurs during this sleep stage and the frequent reports of vivid dreams following REM sleep. I remember that one time I was sleepwalking. I started at the bed and ended up on the couch. It had a negative effect on me because it was uncomfortable, and it was a bad position."
