RESPONSE POSTS Detailed, well developed ideas: illustrates understanding of the topic and its related concepts including original ideas 40 (20 per response) Student engaged classmates: student replied to the posts made by the instructor and other students (up until Sunday evening); student's posts & replies relate directly to the weekly topic by exploring the various aspects (details) through discussing or debating the topic and adding original ideas to the content with textbook or other citations for support. Each additional post is at least 4-5 complete sentences with proper grammar and spelling. Response to instructors request for additional information to initial post does NOT count as one of the required response posts. Discussion 1 Project managers carry out many vital responsibilities such as planning, organizing, and leading staff and company operations. Successful execution of these responsibilities is critical to the functionality of long and short-term projects. Although there are numerous roles critical to project management, one could consider planning as the most vital aspect of a project manager's responsibilities. This is because it is imperative to cultivate a detailed strategy that assesses the goals of the project, how they extend to and affect the corporate goals of the company, as well as risk and cost analysis. Carefully planning the structure and phases of the project ensures that activities are completed within their deadlines, resulting in the best possible outcome for the operation. Although many of the traditional principles remain in place, digitalization and changes in business practices have caused a dramatic shift in project management approaches. Although operations have been greatly enhanced by these technologies, managers face new difculties in understanding and utilizing these new technologies and software.(T.J., Wells, K.N. and Anantatmula, V.S, 2022) In executing project selection, several components must be carefully evaluated by project managers. Establishing that a project is compatible with a company's overall organizational strategy is imperative to identify the functionality and practicality of a project plan. It is also vital to execute an environmental analysis of both internal and external factors, Such as the role of vendors and stakeholders.
