peer response: My advice that I would give to Alexander is that I do believe he would be able to win the lawsuit against Residence Repository, Inc. However, Alexander would need to provide proof without a doubt that Residence Repository utilized age discrimination when they hired another person. In this situation, the best thing would have been to record the conversation with the hiring manager. Additionally, Alexander would also need to prove that he would have been able to complete the job as well as the person that was hired without any degree of uncertainty. Residence Repository would have a strong claim to state that the person they hired would be just as able, and that the other person hired did a better job on the interview portion, or overall a better candidate for the job
