People with disability and their carers still face a number of key issues that can affect inclusion in sport and recreation activities. These issues mean that they can have difficulty accessing after-school or holiday-care programs, sporting programs, indoor or outdoor recreation activities, camps and guided activities. Explain how each of the following impacts on their ability to participate: Poverty. Support, services and facilities are not available in the sporting or recreation areas that interest the client.
