Perception is the process of selecting, organizing and interpreting information. We don't see everything or hear everything that is happening around us, in fact, many things pass by unnoticed because it doesn't fall into our perception, we didn't select that information to pay attention to. Now think about a time when you have made a judgement about a person or event, your perception of that person or event. Provide a detailed description of a time when your perception of an event or person was correct, maybe you thought that person looked friendly and when you talked to them, they turned out to be. Or maybe you went to an event and "had a bad feeling" and left, only to find out later that you were right. Remember that perceptions can be influenced by stereotypes, ensure that the example you are providing was not a result of a stereotype, but rather an actual correct perception of the event or person.
