You are a member of an online fact-checking team and as the one with a background in Statistics, you are assigned to check through hypothesis testing, whether the neck rule is true. This rule translates to the rule of thumb "Twice around the neck, once around the waist (double your neck size to find your waist size)." You are to submit a report to your teamleader complete with a statement of the hypotheses until the discussion of the results for verification before it is published online in your fact-checking website to properly guide readers as to the claim of this neck trick.Guidelines: All grade 11 students will be asked to accomplish a google form indicating their waist circumference and neck circumference following the instructions below. This must be done not later than March 13, 2022. On March 14, 2027, a google sheet containing the data gathered through this google form (corresponding names will not be included for data privacy) will be generated. This will be posted in your respective google classrooms. You are expected to make your computations and corresponding interpretations based on this data only. You can present the whole hypothesis-testing procedure including your recommendations based on your findings using any platform convenient to you (PowerPoint, PDF, etc.) and submit it in your google classwork.
