Personally, I would not want a job position knowing there was a more qualified candidate but the company was forced to hire me due to laws. Being a female, I have an advantage in the workplace I should take advantage of, but I would not want to be hired for a position that I know I do not have the capability to fulfill or a white male was more qualified for the position than I am. As a result of an affirmative action hire, there will be very resentful coworkers within the organization. In some instances, race and sex need to be taken out of the equation and qualifications are what need to be judged during an interview
