Person-Organization fit (P-O fit) is generally defined as compatibility between employees and their organizations. If P-O fit is low, then there will be low quality of products and services and decreased productivity, low organizational commitment, high stress, low motivation, low satisfaction, high absenteeism, and high turnover. Managers should work to ensure high P-O fit to minimize the problems mentioned above.
