Peter, age 16, and Janet, age 25, agreed as follows. Peter, who was very religious, would pray to his favorite saint for guidance in selecting winning lottery numbers. He would give these numbers to Janet who would buy a ticket. Peter could not buy a ticket because he was under 18. If the ticket won, Janet would share the winnings with Peter.
