Peter was an honour student during his time at the University of Lima. After his graduation, in June 2015, and during his grad studies in the UK, he worked part time for 18 months, as an interior designer for a reputable company "HB Architectures" in the UK. In July 2017, upon his return to Peru, Peter obtained his licence to practice as an interior design from the regulatory body in Peru.
In August 2017, he was hired by an international company based in Lima, Peru, "PP Architectures" who offered him a full-time position as a "Interior Designer", working 40 hours per week. His annual salary is equivalent to CAD $75,000. Peter is still occupying this position until present day. Due to his numerous achievements, Peter was nominated employee of the year in both 2021 and 2022.
In October 2023, during a three-week visit to Canada, Peter received an offer of employment for the position of Interior Design from "Green Architect Inc." located in Montreal, Quebec.
"Green Architect Inc." was impressed with Peter's experience in developing detailed plans and 3-D models showing arrangement of walls, dividers, displays, lighting and other fixtures using computer-assisted design software and graphics software, developing plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advising on selection of colours, finishes and materials, floor and wall coverings, window treatments, interior and exterior lighting, furniture and other items, and taking into account ergonomic and occupational health standards. Peter's experience and skills are aligned with the skills needed for the position they are looking to fill.

At the same time, he applied for and obtained the certification required by the provincial association of Quebec l'Association professionnelle des designers d'intrieur du Qubec (APDIQ).
Peter is fluent in English and scored an average of CLB 7 on his IELTS. Both Peter and Mary are very excited about this offer and are eager to move to Montreal as soon as possible. She contacted the University of Montreal and initiated the procedures for her enrollment in a one-year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration starting in May 2024. The program tuition fees are CAD $20,000.
Mary holds a 3-year bachelor's degree in art & Theater from the University of Lima, Peru which she obtained in 2015. She has been working as a manager for an Art Gallery in Lima, Peru since June 2016.
