Peter hires a contractor to renovate the washroom in his house. The contractor indicates that it will cost $26,000.00 to complete the work inclusive materials and labour. Peter pays half and Mark the contractor begins work. Over the next few weeks, Mark removes the existing fixtures, toilet, sink and walls in order to install the custom sink and taps, new toilet, and a custom shower in the washroom. Peter points out a few issues that he noticed during the construction phase of the renovation and Mark is visibly update. The two parties get into an argument and Mark decides to abandon the job.
