• A detailed description of the theory's underlying assumptions. (add 5-10 points)
• What types of behaviour does the theory seek to explain?
• Select a short news story (written or video) and use the theory to explain the criminal activity.
• What evidence is there that this theory has merit? i.e. have others supported/advanced the theory
• What evidence is there that this theory does not have merit? ie. others have refuted /disproved the theory
• A critical analysis of the relevance/appropriateness of the theory in today's world. (i.e. is it racist, sexist, etc). What biases did the theorist appear to bring to the creation of the theory? How do you know?
