Pick a topic you're passionate about and research the opposition. (

This is a good resource to consider: www.procon.org) Try your best to ONLY research the side you DON'T agree with.

1. make a short summary (one paragraph) of the opposition's argument. Insert links to the research you found. You do not need to formally cite (as in apa style).
2. How did it make you FEEL to read and write about the other side?
3. Which parts were the hardest to open your mind to and which were the easiest? Why? (Use specific evidence from your research)
4. What are some new feelings you have about the opposition now? (You don't have to agree with them but, do you understand their ideas better? Can you appreciate any points that were made?)
5. Tell me at least 3 benefits to overcoming your confirmation bias.
