Pick up a positive charge and place it in the middle of the screen. You should see numerous arrows appear after you release the charge. The arrows indicate the electric field at various points in the map. The direction of the electric field at those points is indicated by the direction of the arrows, and the magnitude of the electric field is qualitatively indicated by the brightness of the arrows. Drag the positive charge around the map and describe what happens to the arrows. Click on the reset button in the bottom right corner to clear the map and repeat this activity for a negative charge.
