The detants are as follows: - The original cost of the building was $15 million, it is 60% depreciated. - Maple Inc agrees to pay Pine Co $12 mition for the bulding, which is the fair value at the time of sale. - Mople Inc. agrees to lease the bulding to Pine Co for 20 years. The annual lease payments are $11 million, due at the end of the year - There is no residual guarantee expected to be paid. - Pine Co will pay all the operating, maintenance costs, including taxes and insurance. - The effective date of the agreement is 1 .January 203. Pine Co's effective borrowing rate is 8% Required: Prepare the journal entry to record the sale on 1 January 203 using IFRS. (If no entry is required for a transaction/event, select "No journal entry required" in the first occount field.)
