Place the list in the correct order with respect to sorting data based on the values in two columns.

Click the Sort button.

Click the Data tab of the Ribbon.

Click the OK button.

Click the Add Level button.

Select a sort order from the Order dropdown box.

Highlight all of the data in a contiguous range on a worksheet that is intended to be sorted.

Click the $"$My data has headers" che$$k box if needed.

Select a sort order for the Then by column from the Order dropdown box.

Select a column in the Sort by dropdown box.

Select a second column in the Then by dropdown box.
