Plans have been approved to build a new correctional facility onthe old Bear Creek penitentiary site near Clearwater, BC. You havebeen hired to write a brief proposal regarding the structure andcontent of correctional programming required. In this proposal, youare asked to address and work out the following:

• The overarching framework for interventions you suggest andwhy;
• A note on the overincarceration of Aboriginal peoples(prevalence, possible reasons, in-prison services); and
• An overview of the exact timepoints or decision points at whichrisk assessments should occur in this facility, including suggestedrisk assessment instruments (one for each is fine).
