The bank has approved a loan of $150,000 and the amount has been shown in the business bank account. 1 May 1 The company issued shares to the public for $500,000 cash. 4 6 13 Purchased eight motor vehicles costing $51,000 each and equipment costing $28,000. $200,000 cash was withdrawn from the business bank account to pay for the cars and the remainder is due in 30 days. Purchased office supplies costing $5,200 on credit. Recorded revenue for the first half of the month of $25,600 received and $58,500 on credit. 19 Paid for the office supplies purchased on 6 May by transfer from the business bank account. 20 Paid insurance expense for May of $5,500 by transfer from the business bank account. 25 Received cash transfers of $20,500 from customers who had purchased during the first half of the month on credit. The amount was matched to the amount received in the business bank account. 28 Purchased office supplies costing $13,500 on credit. 29 Recorded revenue for the second half of the month of $33,800 received and $38,900 on credit. 31 Recorded electricity expense of $1,560 paid to AGL from the business bank account.
