"Part B: Building the Team(30 marks)

In this section, address the following:

• You were asked to watchPatrick Lencioni The 5 Dysfunctions of a Team, to read Lencioni's (2002) bookThe Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable, and to exploreThe Table Groupwebsite. Using these resources, the assigned readings, your own experiences, and your reflections, you will create a simulated plan for a hypothetical term project for a teamwork class.
• Create a term project for a teamwork class. You are welcome to use the previous project example from Assignment 2 or create a new one for this assignment. There should be three to five team members (including yourself) on this hypothetical team. Assume you are the team leader. Briefly describe an overview of the project, project goals, and expectations.
• Using the concepts from Lencioni and other sources, identify how you would go about building trust in the team, assigning team roles and tasks, and make team members accountable. Whenever possible, reference the literature, but link it to your team's project.
• How will you create a team environment that challenges social loafers and groupthink?
• Describe ways that you will ensure that the team is engaged in the project and meeting expectations?
• What do you think will be the challenges as the team leader? From the readings, what have you learned to be an effective leader?"
