Uncle, who is elderly and in poor health, tells Niece "You will receive $10,000 from my estate if you promise to attend my funeral. You are my only close relative and it will give me great comfort knowing that you will be there." Niece replies "I promise to be there but I don't want your money. I love you and want to be there for you." Uncle insisted that Niece accept the money and she agreed to do so, saying "I promise to accept the money but only because it will make you feel better." Uncle dies shortly thereafter and Niece attends his funeral. Is she entitled to the money?
