INFORMATION: The following information was obrained from the records of Siza Traders for March 2023. 1. The bank account of Siza Traders reflected a credit balance of R2800 before the bank statement for March 2023 was received. 2. A comparison of the cash journals with the bank statement from Max Bank for March 2023 revealed the following: a) Max Banik debited the account of Siza Traders with R100 for interest on overdraft. b) A debtor K. Kerry deposited an amount of RT 200 , in settlement of a debt of R7 400 , directly into the bank account of Siza Traders. c) An electronic funds transfer for R2 600 to "City Press" for advertising was incorrectly recorded. in the Cash Payments Journal as R6 200. d) A debit order to Max Bank, R24 000 , for instalment of ioan appeared on the bank statement only. e) Bank charges according to the bank statement amounted to R1 200 , C. 2 REQUIRED: Show the effect of the following transactions of Mento Services on the Accounting equation. The proprietor increased her capital contribution by depositing R30 000 cash. 4. Paid a creditor to settle an account, R4 000. 5. Received R2 000 for rent from the tenant. 6. Bought stationery on account, R1 500 . 7. Received R1000 from a debtor in settlement of her account. 8. The proprietor took R2 500 cash from the bank account of the business for her personal use. REQUIRED: Use the information provided below to show the relevant items (with the amounts and total) that comprise "Trade and other receivables" in the Statement of Financial Position as at 28 February 2023. INFORMATION: The following balances, amongst others, appeared in the pre-adjustment trial balance of GH Stores on 28 February 2023 , the end of the financial year: - Debtors control R40 000 - Provision for bad debts (01 March 2022) R1 800 Additional information: - The provision for bad debts must be adjusted to 5% of debtors. - Commission of R50 for every 10 items sold was owed to GH Stores for the sale of 40 items during February 2023
