1. Prepare for the appraisals Begin by reviewing and printing out the previously completed Performance Appraisal for Terry, Giselle and Prem. Review the Team Performance Appraisals completed by your predecessor. Review the Performance Management Policy and Procedures to determine how you should carry out the appraisal. Use the Performance Appraisal Template to enter the objective performance data into each employee's Performance Appraisals from the latest Team Performance Appraisal. 2. +C0nduct a structured performance appraisal on Terry (your Assessor) Hold a meeting with Terry. It should not take longer than about 15 minutes. Discuss each section with the employee, taking notes in the Performance Appraisal Template. During the meeting, you will need to demonstrate effective communication skills including: Speaking clearly and concisely Using non-verbal communication to assist with understanding Asking questions to identify required information Responding to questions as required. When the appraisal has been completed, submit the completed Performance Appraisal Terry and submit it to your assessor. 3. Conduct a structured performance appraisal on Giselle {your Assessor) r.
