3. MP Construction Company wants to determine the least number of daily workers for the construction of a new 500-acre high-class subdivision at San Pedro, Laguna. Only two types of skilled workers are considered for this phase of the construction. Welders are paid 1000 PhP per day while Electrical Technicians are paid 1500 per day. The company conducted various studies and consulted several experts for the worker allocations for this project phase. According to a scheduling study, the number of Welders should be at least 6% of the number of Electrical Technicians. Also, according to a time study, 20 times of the number of Welders should be at work with at most 7 times of the number of Electrical Technicians. Both of these studies must be considered. The Engineer in charge recommended that 9 times of the number of Welders should be present with at most twice the number of Electrical Technicians. On theother hand, the Architects recommended that there should be at least 90 Welders and at least 800 Electrical Technicians. For safety and quality requirements, the total number of workers must be at least 1000. The company is having a problem determining the least cost while considering all these studies, recommendations, and requirements. As an expert in quantitative methods, they hired you to help them solve their dilemma. What would you say to the board of directors as a solution to their problem?
