Q4. Read the following scenario below. Then sketch position vs time, velocity vs time, and acceleration vs time plots on the axes below. Initially, the Muni train is moving southbound along 19th Avenue at constant velocity. After the first two minutes of time has gone by, the driver begins to apply the brakes as the train approaches the station, slowing down at a constant rate, until the train comes to a complete stop at the station two minutes after the brakes are first applied (arrives at the station at t= 4 minutes). After 2 more minutes (t=6 minutes), the driver accelerates to continue driving southbound along 19th Ave. (Note: be clear about which direction you are choosing to be positive, and be consistent.)
