COMP CO826 Week 13 In Class Activity Activity Overview Discussion on issues that can arise during the implementation, testing and deployment phases that affect the project scope and deliverables. Activity Task Keeping a project on time and in budget has been a major theme discussed throughout this course. Read through the following scenarios and discuss as a group how you would handle these and what the outcome should be. Identify any scope creep these scenarios may have. Scenario 1: During customer acceptance testing, the client is impressed with the work done and immediately comes up with 3 extra features that can be added now that they see the system in action. Scenario 2: During the design phase the clients are reviewing some User Interface Mock-ups and the clients are not happy with the result. They feel the mock-ups do not represent the business process originally identified in requirements. However, the UI designers do feel they have followed the written requirements. The UI designers feel the client is asking for new requirements that were not originally identified. Scenario 3: The programmers during the implementation phase identify an issue within the requirements. The issue is the workflow as described is missing a step or two to get to the final result. They want to know if they can make an assumption to complete the work on time, rather than ask the client and potentially create more work for themselves.
