In The Incorporated Owners of Tsuen Wan Garden v Prime Light Limited, CACV1/2004, the court had to consider the meaning of the word "majority" in paragraph 3 (3) of the Third Schedule to the Building Management Ordinance, Cap. 344. Judge Woo, Judge Yeung & Judge Tang in their judgment said: 33. "Majority" - a simple word, ordinarily means more than half.
