B. Assume that the administrator of a short-term acute hospital wishes to examine factors that influence the length of stay. The administrator is interested in the influence of age and that the insured use more care care than the uninsured. After selecting a random sample of 30 patients who were treated for a disease of the digestive system, we obtained the following information:
1. Use the "Uninsured" as the reference category and the "Regression" function to estimate the linear function relating the LOS to age and insurance status.
Interpret your results when viewed from a statistical and administrative perspective. Let =0.05.
