Include in your paper all MITIGATING FACTORS that juries consider in their deliberations when deciding NOT to assess the Death Penalty, and all AGGRAVATING FACTORS that juries consider in their deliberations when deciding TO assess the Death Penalty. Discuss whether you believe the Death Penalty is an effective deterrent to the crime of Murder, and if not, what other alternatives to the Death Penalty may be more effective in reducing the rate of Murders.
