This article that I found exemplifies an ANOVA test between three different types of deodorants that are commonly used. The article provides three different deodorant types such as prebiotic and probiotic deodorants, crystal deodorant, and natural deodorant, which all share a difference with one another such as ingredients and the benefit they have on the body. The three deodorant types are being compared based on the difference in ingredients which for probiotic deodorants are ingredients that feed bacteria, for crystal deodorant they are mineral salts called potassium alum, and natural deodorant consist of a GRAS ingredient. These different types of deodorants with the different ingredient types all show the effects of how they are on the body. The variable in this experiment is the test and the people who use these types of deodorants, and the independent variable is ingredient types of each deodorant type. The main purpose of this test is to see which type of deodorant is best and most effective on the body depending on the deodrants type of ingredient as well. I believe that deodorant which is most effective is the prebiotic and probiotic deodorants because of their purpose of feeding bacteria that break down sweat without causing bad smells to occur, but it is definitely not the healthiest and safest option for the body either.
