Understanding how leaders adapt to this technological landscape is critical to the future of education. Technology integration in education has a rich, though recent, history. From the introduction of computers in the classroom to the emergence of online learning platforms, technology continues to transform educational methods. Now, the education sector is now more reliant on digital tools than ever before, necessitating a critical shift in leadership strategies.

This digital shift has redefined the roles of academic leaders, placing new demands on their skill sets and strategic approaches. Leadership literature, such as "Contemporary Issues in Leadership" and "Primal Leadership," offers valuable insights into adopting leadership styles in changing environments. Transformational leadership, which inspires and motivates, and transactional leadership, which focuses on supervision and organization, are particularly relevant to advances in educational technology. Adaptability and emotional intelligence are key capabilities for leaders to navigate the digital environment. When challenges occur with technology in education it is important to be self-aware so that you are able to recognize and understand your moods, emotions, and drives as well as the effect it has on others. Self-regulation is important because we need to be able to control and redirect disruptive impulses and moods as we work through challenges to prevent losing control. Motivation plays a key factor because that is the key to solving issues and working through the "never ending" changes in technology as time passes.

Essentially, in respect to motivation, we need to harbor the passion necessary to push through all the challenging tollgates that come with these changes in technology. Empathy is important because we have to be able to understand how others feel within this process such as the administrative staff, IT professionals, and students. Social skills on the other hand are just as important because we need to manage each relationship and build the proper networks necessary to work through these boundaries to make the evolving changes in technology easier to navigate and bear. With that being said, recommended to work with technical experts and implement a comprehensive training program to bridge knowledge gaps. What's more, it is critical to foster an institutional culture that values innovation and a flexible learning environment. Therefore, in order to learn it is best to seek our a mentor, or if you are a leader and see your followers struggling it should be on your radar to mentor them or appoint them a mentor to help alleviate stress within the processes of changing technology in educational leadership. According to(Goleman et al., 2013, Page 33) "when good people leave, they take the companies knowledge with them" and that is why mentoring is important in an organizations culture. For instance, if you have an individual that has been working with the digital technology in educational leadership for years, is very efficient at it, and is a person that adapts well when changes occur: would it not be a good idea to have a succession plan in place in order to pass the knowledge forward? If an individual with this type of knowledge and skill set mentors the upcoming educational leaders on the technology, best practices, and how to cope and deal with changes as they occur: would this not pave a road to success? Within (Goleman et al., 2013, Page 33) it has repeatedly been shown that coaching and mentoring truly pay off in the long run because it boosts overall performance, job satisfaction, and decreases turnover rate for those that get overwhelmed by the inevitable changes that will occur in the world of technology in respect to educational leadership. Coaching and mentoring work best if the nature of the relationship is in good standing. For instance, you would not want a mentor that was arrogant, or rude to the individual they were mentoring, nor would you want a mentee to act in that way. A good mentor will be a person that acts with candor, empathy, and motivates the individual they are mentoring.

In conclusion, the role of technology in educational leadership is dynamic and complex. As educational institutions continue to navigate this digital era, educational leaders' adaptability, strategic vision, and collaborative efforts will be paramount in harnessing technology's potential to redefine learning and teaching.
