July 10 Sold merchandise on credit to Conway Realtors, $2,875. Terms, net 30 days. July 10 Paid $72 freight charge on the outbound shipment of merchandise to Conway Realtors. July 10 Found that some items of the merchandise received from Hayes Paper did not meet specifications. Returned these items to Hayes Paper and received full credit of $900. July 12 Paid Hayes Paper Co. within discount period the remaining amount for the purchase of July 5 after allowing for the purchase return on July 10. July 18 Sold merchandise on account to Meadowland Products for $2,800. Terms, 2/10, 1/30 July 19 Agreed to reduce the price $200 on merchandise sold to Meadowland Prod. ucts on July 14, because of slight defects in the merchandise.
