Please Help Me Explain This To Other Students!

Many people don't realize the brain can grow smarter with practice and the use of better strategies. When something is hard, they feel dumb or frustrated and stop trying. People who understand they can grow their intelligence act very differently when something is hard -- they try harder and look for new strategies. For example, students who understand they can grow their intelligence spend more time studying strategically, and, over time, do better in school and grow smarter.
