1.A Lebanese family, Rima 39 years, Tony 45 Joe, and their two boys Marc 4 years, Joe 8 years are living in Qatar, who decided to migrate to Toronto. Rima has a 4-year Bachelor University degree in marketing and has been working for 8years as a marketing/public relations manager for Dubai Enterprise. She is fluent in French CLB 7 and English CLB 8. Her yearly income is 50,000CAN. Tony has a University degree in human resources and has been unemployed for the past 2years. His English CLB 7. Both are healthy and have good criminal records in Lebanon and Qatar. Marc has learning disabilities and frequent asthma attacks and relies on an inhaler. Joe has a speech disorder and requires medical support to improve his communication skills. A year ago, the family applied to Australia where the application got rejected. Rima's mum, Claudia lives with her in Qatar, is 65 years and diabetic. She kept on renewing her mum stay every 6^th month in Qatar for the past 2 years since her father passed. Lebanon is struggling with corruption and crimes and not safe to return and live there.Rima wants to include her mum in the application as she is her only child. Is Claudia eligible to apply for H&C in Canada? who is to be the main applicant? What program is convenient?

2.Amy is 24 years old (Chinese). Now, she is working in a marketing company and has been working for almost two years. Her occupation is typing A under the NOC system. She graduated from a Canadian university with a bachelor's diploma. She recently took the IELTS test (listening 8.5, reading 7, writing 7, and speaking 7.5.) She is very likely to be invited when her work experience reaches two years. Amy has a boyfriend, also Chinese, and has been living together for more than four years. Her boyfriend has a similar background: working almost two years, has one Canadian bachelor's diploma (computer science), while his IELTS result is relatively lower than Amy (Listening 7.5, Reading 7.5, Writing 6.5, Speaking 6). Therefore, Amy wonders whether to apply the CEC with the marital status as single or common-law. She worries that common-law will deduct her point, which lowers her possibility of being invited. She wants to know that if she applies as single, does this count as misrepresentation?

3.Nick was born in Hongkong, China in 1991. His aunt and grandmother are Canadian citizens. He studied in Canada from middle school to high school and graduated from Hongkong university. He worked in an IT company in Hongkong. He had recently taken part in a Hong Kong repatriation parade and was arrested, losing his job. Later, after Hong Kong's National Security Law was passed, his friend was arrested again, he was worried about being arrested again too. He decided to immigrate to Canada. Is Nick eligible to claim refugee protection in Canada? Or Could he claim Federal Skill Workers? What would you suggest?

4.Emily is 26 years old and holds a Taiwan passport and graduated from the University of Toronto with a master's degree in March 2020. After she graduated, she applied for PGWP and has been working in an IT company as a contractor employee for four months (NOC A). Her yearly income is 90,000 CAD. She took the IELTS test last year: Reading 8 Listening 8 Writing 7 Speaking 6. She wanted to apply for PR as soon as possible due to her hectic working life. She has a same-sex partner living outside Canada. Their long-distance relationship is over 12 months: they met in school, but they have never lived together as common-law partners. They plan to get married in Taiwan in six months. Her partner is 28 years old, working in China as an elementary school teacher (NOC A) for five years. She never took any language test, but her English is relatively proficient. She is wondering which way is the most effective and time-saving method for her to get the PR: Canadian experience or PNP stream, and how and when she can sponsor her partner to immigrate to Canada.

5.Noel is 38 years old and is a citizen of Philippines. He was a graduate of a bachelor's degree (BS Accountancy) at a university in the Philippines. He has a limited English ability. He is married with three children who are all minors. His wife Anita, who is 33 years old and also a bachelor's degree (BS Business Administration) graduate at a university where Noel studied. Anita has a good English ability. She has 2 years of working experience as a Business Administration University Professor (NOC-4011) and decided to stop when they got married and that was 3 years ago. Noel has been working as a Bank Manager (NOC-0122) for 6 years. Noel and Anita are planning to immigrate to Canada with their children through the economic class. They have $35,000 equivalent amount of their bank account in the Philippines. What would be your advice and who would be the principal applicant?

6.Aman is a 29-year-old married male from India. He has done a 3-year bachelor's degree in arts and runs his own factory in India where he manufactures t-shirts and pajamas. He is into this business from last 7 years along with his father and elder brother. His wife's name is Anita (27-year-old) who has done bachelor's degree in arts and master's degree in management. She has 3 years' experience of working as a "HR manager" in a multi-national company. Aman's son (Abhay, 5-year-old) has been diagnosed with down syndrome last year. He wants to migrate to Canada along with his wife and son. Aman has visited your consultancy and asked for your help to migrate to Canada. What advice would you give him? Under which category Aman can apply?
