This product requires 5 pounds of raw material (cost $6 per pound), and the raw material inventory policy is to hold 20% of next month's production in ending inventory. The Dec 31 raw material inventory met the firm's inventory policy. Required: a) production budget for January through March. b) raw material purchasing budget in units and dollars. c) The firm manages its accounts payable by paying 10% of a month's purchases in the month, taking a 10% discount, and paying the remaining 90% of the purchases one month later. Present a schedule of cash disbursements for the above purchasing budget
