What went wrong was unfortunately the decision proved to be flawed. The event day was marred by bad weather, which significantly reduced attendance and donations. My directive decision-making style meant that I overlooked critical feedback from team members who suggested alternative plans or indoor venues. Additionally, I failed to conduct a thorough risk assessment, such as considering weather forecasts and backup plans. This experience taught me the importance of incorporating collaborative decision-making and thorough risk evaluation to enhance the quality and resilience of future decisions.
