After cooperatively answering trivia questions to build up a pot of money, they then have to decide whether they want to SPLIT or STEAL. If they both choose SPLIT, they will split the money. If they both choose STEAL, they both lose everything. And if one player picks SPLIT while the other picks STEAL, the STEAL player gets all the money and the SPLIT player gets nothing. Player 2 Split Steal Player 1 Split (50, 50) (0, 100) Steal (100, 0) (0, 0) a. Develop the strategies of the game for each player. Are there any dominant or mixed strategies? b. Let's assume something about humans. We're spiteful... So, in the above example, assume that a person would rather both players have nothing than the other player having it all.
