The force is proportional to the product of the two masses, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. The equation for universal gravitation thus takes the form: F = Gmim2 (1) where G = 6.67 . 10-1 Nm'/kg2 is the gravitational constant, m, and m, are the masses of the objects, and scalar r is the distance between the centers of the masses. The gravity force is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from the center of the body similarly to the Coulomb's interaction between two point electric charges. 2 Useful resources 2.1 Educational websites . https://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Newton%.27s_law_of_universal_gravitation . https://www. toppr. com/guides/physics-formulas/gravitational-force-formula/ . https://www. khanacademy . org/computing/computer-programming/programming-natural-simulat programming-forces/a/gravitational-attraction 2.2 YouTube videos . https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=Ep1j IhHdf2A . https://www. youtube. com/watch?v=OhOuNtRMSAI . https://www. youtube . com/watch?v=NPyfINCcPCo and many-many others available online.3 Procedure 1.
