An examination of the ledger and journal reveals the following errors: 1. Cash received from a customer on account and was debited to the cash account for $160. The Accounts Receivable account was credited for the same amount. The actual collection was for $610. 2. Services were performed on account for a client for $460. Accounts Receivable was debited for $60 and Service Revenue was credited for $460. 3. A payment of $150 for Internet charges was recorded as a credit to Ofce Expense for $150 and a credit to Cash for $150. 4. A payment for supplies made to a creditor on account for $350 was credited to Cash for $35 and credited to Accou nts Payable for $530. 5. An advance payment of 5500 received from a customer was recorded as a credit to accounts receivable and a debit to revenue.
