please help to Find mean+/- SEM AND 2 tailed paired and unpaired test from given information: ProtocolAll volunteers should commence the experiment having fasted for at least 4 hours. Before commencing the experiment, perform resting blood and respiratory measurements. Respiratory measurements should be taken first by analysing the volume and composition of expired air. Allow volunteers to sit resting and sample the expired gas for 5 min. Use the final 1 min period to determine the average resting VO2, VCO2 (l.min-1) and respiratory exchange ratio (RER). Following the respiratory measurements, blood glucose should be measured. After the resting blood and respiratory measurements have been performed volunteers should consume either snack A or B.Volunteer A. High carbohydrateVolunteers will consume a high carbohydrate snack that contains approximately 1 g.kg-1 body weight, of carbohydrate (1 whole can of low fat creamed rice; 78% carbohydrate, 5% fat, 17% protein), and 250 ml of water within 5 min. Providing an approximate consumption equivalent to 73 g CHO and 7 g FAT (total energy consumption = 2250 kJ).Volunteer B. ControlControl volunteers will consume 250 ml water within 5 min.Following ingestion of the food and water or water only, volunteers should then remain sitting and rest for 1 hour (no further food or liquid should be consumed for the remainder of the experiment). Blood and respiratory measurements should be taken at 30 and 60 min. Similar to resting measurements, expired gas should be sampled for 5 min, with the final 1 min period used to determine the average VO2, VCO2 and RER. Following the respiratory measurements, blood glucose should be measured.Measurements and calculationsExpired gas volume and composition will be analysed using the PowerLab metabolic system and respiratory exchange ratio will be computed for you using standard equations.Using the VO2 and VCO2 (l.min-1) data, total carbohydrate and fat oxidation rates (g.min-1) can be calculated using stoichiometric equations (see below) with the assumption that protein oxidation is negligible.Carbohydrate oxidation (g. min-1) = (VCO2 4.55) - (VO2 3.21) Fat oxidation (g. min-1) = (VO2 1.67) - (VCO2 1.67)
