Water at 15C is flowing steadily in a 30 -m-long and 5 -cm-diameter horizontal pipe made of stainless steel (surface roughness, =0.002mm ) at a rate of 14 LPM. (a) Determine i) the velocity of the inlet flow of the water, ii) Reynolds number and flow regime flowing in the pipe, iii) friction factor in the pipe (you may use any possible method, state your method), iv) the pressure drop, v) the head loss, and vi) the pumping power required to overcome this pressure drop. (b) If the horizontal pipe in Question 2 (a) makes a sudden furn to 90 miter bend (without vanes) in the middle of the pipe, calculate i) minor loss, and ii) total head loss in the pipe
